FIT Technical Approach
In order to achieve its objectives, FIT intends to provide:
-
A framework for self-adaptive e-government that will enable continually improved delivery of services, detection of new services and context-aware restructuring of existing services. The framework will be based on the analysis of user's needs, domain knowledge and a semantic description of existing administrative processes.
-
A personalized front office that will enable personalized and “inclusive for all” access. This knowledge-enhanced front office will discover user preferences by analyzing their behaviors and proactively provide context-sensitive and customized services / information.
-
A customized back office that will introduce and implement the concept of adaptable processes through semantic modeling of customizable administrative processes and embedding these models in the daily work (i.e. in a workflow engine). This flexible back office will ensure multi-context view on public services based on the user and quality model.
-
A framework to support knowledge sharing between front offices, i.e. how to use best practices learned in one front office in other offices.
